When do I receive notifications?

There are several reasons why you receive notifications. Currently these notifications are send out for the following reasons:


  • When you receive a new message from a Whiskybase user
  • If you submitted a bottle to the database to notify you if the bottle is added or denied
  • If you submitted a photo to notify you if the photo is added or denied
  • Whisky changed or denied
  • Other changes


  • Marketplace: Wishlist whiskies
  • Marketplace: Order status updates
  • Marketplace: Seller/Buyer messages within your orders


You can change these settings from your own profile page.
