What are Price Alerts for Whiskybase Plus Members?

For serious whisky enthusiasts, timing matters. Whether you are searching for a rare bottle, tracking market value, or waiting for the right buying opportunity to buy your favorites, staying informed can make the difference between missing out and securing the bottle you want.

Whiskybase Plus members can set Price Alerts to receive notifications when a specific bottle becomes available:

• At retail shops
• NEW! At auction
  
• On the Whiskybase Marketplace

This includes the new auction alert feature, ensuring you are informed not only about direct sales listings, but also when bottles enter the competitive auction market.

Each Price Alert can be individually customized to trigger when a whisky is listed at or below your selected price. This allows you to monitor availability and market activity efficiently, react quickly to opportunities, and make informed purchasing decisions without constantly checking listings yourself.

After setting a Price Alert for a bottle, you can view a complete overview of all your active alerts in the enhanced “Alerts” tab within your profile. This centralized dashboard allows you to manage your alerts in a clear and organized way.

From there, you can easily edit the maximum price for each alert, activate or deactivate alerts as needed, or delete them entirely. This gives you full control over how and when you are notified about bottle availability and pricing.
