It's important to remember that Whiskybase is solely a user-built website that relies on its community members to add and update the information that we display. We cannot guarantee the correctness of the information.
Staff will not edit or change information in the database. If you have spotted errors, we encourage you to fix them. The information in the Whiskybase database can be updated at any time, by any logged-in member. To update release information, go to the appropriate whisky page and use the "Add/update info" link on the left of the page (just below all the detailed information). This link will open up the submission form which will then populate with the current release data. You can then edit the data, explain your edit in the submission notes, and submit your edit to the database.
